The level of technology reached today has made digital systems and superior computer capacities an indispensable part of our daily lives in every aspect of our lives. Developments at this impressive pace have provided significant developments in all industrial and academic science as well as robotic systems and artificial intelligence applications. Likewise, artificial intelligence systems have started to be used in the field of health. Many R&D studies and projects are implemented in order to obtain benefits such as diagnosis and diagnosis, treatment plan, guidance in surgical planning, and are quickly used in the fields of application. As Eskisehir Oral and Dental Hospital, we wanted to be a pioneer in this field in order to keep up with this great speed of our age and to further improve the quality of the service we provide by closely following the latest technological developments. For this purpose, we held the necessary negotiations with the Ministry of Health for the use of a completely local artificial intelligence software developed by Eskisehir Osmangazi University faculty members within our hospital. Our project, which was evaluated within 8 projects submitted to the General Directorate of Health Information Systems and the General Directorate of Health Services of our Ministry, was accepted by signing a first and we were selected as a pilot hospital in our country for the use of the 'radiological diagnosis and diagnosis system with artificial intelligence' in the Oral and Dental Health Hospitals affiliated to our Ministry. With this application, the diseases and findings in all teeth and surrounding tissues are determined completely and accurately with the artificial intelligence module on the radiological images we call panoramic x-rays showing the entire oral structure of the patients, and it serves as a decision support application in making the correct diagnosis to our physicians and planning the appropriate treatment. Thus, in addition to helping physicians in the clinic not to record incorrectly, incorrect or incomplete data, we aim to keep all past medical records of the patients correct and complete, in this context, to prevent inaccuracies and deficiencies in the data sent to the Ministry and the Social Security Institution. Patient data is now becoming completely electronic and increasing the possibilities of artificial intelligence to be used in the analysis of this data. We are also proud to be a first in this field, which we believe that this technology will be used more and more widely in the future.
